HIs most recent is available as a digital download purchase. Bamboo Zen was released by Monty and I don't think he does much distribution.

I think that dude Prem released it and maybe you can harvest his email from the BBQ or somewhere.

The album that your link to HQM brought up is not Bamboo Zen. It is apparently a new album by Atsuya Okuda entitled So Zen and expensive it is at $33 US.

Actually, Prem had nothing to do with Bamboo Zen. It was Josh Michael (who is a student of Barry Weiss) and Henry Kaiser who did the CD. They sold the rights to Monty. So Monty is the only person who has released it.

And yes, the newest album by Okuda is So Zen.... Japanese prices for recordings! Indeed very expensive!

But also very good. I talked to Monty about So Zen a while ago. He was offered the oppertunity to release it, but he has too much on his plate to do it.

So Zen by Atsuya Okuda is also only available in FLAC format. So in addition to its higher price it requires software not included in the typical Windows system just to listen to it. I love his work so I will bite the bullet.

FLAC is lossless and software to play music files in that format is freely available, so it isn't that hard a bullet to bite
