Are there Shakuhachi teachers in SHANGHAI?
Hello, i just bought my first Shakuhachi 2 weeks ago in Japan. Took my first lesson there, which went pretty well. But the issue is that i live in Shanghai and i haven't been able to find any teacher now that i came back
Any advice? anyone who knows someone who teaches? Or any player who would be willing to meet up to help me to hear how eah note should sound? I managed to blow pretty steady already but of course, depending where and how i pose my mouth, the same note gives me a different tune, so i m getting very confused..
Hope somebody can help me on my first steps with a Shakuhachi
Peace,
Eric.

A quick search brings up a list with just one teacher, Sunny Yeung. How updated is that information, I am afraid I cannot say.
If you really cannot find a teacher in Shanghai, then one option is to find a teacher online, e.g., to take lessons by Skype.
