Sarkis’ exhibition entitled “Interpretation of Cage / Ryoanji” at ARTER involved live musical interpretations of the artist’s 96 watercolours based on the solo flute score of John Cage’s work Ryoanji, realised on 14, 15, 16 and 17 November 2013. This video is an excerpt (first three minutes) from the recording of the live interpretation performed on 15 November 2013.
