New Works for Shakuhachi

On Sunday, February 23, 2014, at the Tenri Cultural Institute (43A W.13th St, NYC)
Kyo-Shin-An Arts presents On Zephyr’s Strings featuring Ensemble Epomeo and myself.
That’s string trio and shakuhachi with the World Premiere of our latest commission:
Rashomon by Victoria Bond, a "Theme and Variations" based on the classic Japanese story.
Also on the program my new composition Sidewalk Dances for shakuhachi and cello,
PLUS string trios of Beethoven, Kurtág and Weinberg -James
