Courses in Kyoto?

I'm a beginner but I love Kyoto and shakuhachi music, and so it seems to me a great way to spend some time in the city to study how to play for a few months. Does anyone have any experience or information on this?

If you are in Kyoto for only a few month, Iød recommend Kurahashi Yodo II as well.
