Spirit of Shakuhachi.
Since the forum has gone quiet I thought I'd nip in and share something!
OK no purists please…I know these are only haiku in the sense that they contain 17 syllables.
Earlier in the summer I tried to write down how I felt as I practiced at the bottom of my garden, where I am lucky enough to have a wildlife pond.

A near perfect note
By a wild pond
Will still the turmoil of my mind.

As the warbler sings and
The damselfly lays her eggs
I breathe out Ro.

Thank you, Brian.
Not so many Russian speaking participants, but.. Well, ok.

День на исходе.
Флейтой сдуваю с луны
пену облаков.

----

Прямая спина.
Флейтой цепляюсь за жизнь,
и… Цу-Рэ-Чи-Ри!

----

Пока разбирал ноты,
жаворонок насвистел
все мои песни.

------

Не меч, но флейту
приму из рук мастера,
научусь дышать.

How I enjoyed your poem Galina! The foam clouds rock!

I put this one through the google translation device; I think it may be called a 'bambusglocke'. The first verse as written, and second as spelled out in English from the Russian translation. I like it, but just for fun.

Song go 'sing ghoul sing'
Finding things too simple too
groover on the moon

Song go 'sing sing ghoul'
find things too easy too
tapping on the moon

Wind !
My Shakuhachi go to the wild.

Wind !
Say him I love him.

I'll go to the wild
to join him in the wind.
Don't give up. Nomally it is the last key on the ring which opens the door. (Paulo Coelho).
