"Woman with Jinashi Shakuhachi" by Frank Denyer

The piece I commissioned - composed by the amazing composer Frank Denyer - has been released on CD. The piece is called "Woman with Jinashi Shakuhachi" and is written for me playing specifically on a taimu shakuhachi in G# (ca. 2.55) made by the great shakuhachi maker Ken LaCosse.
Despite the taimu being a huge wide-bore piece, the music is quiet and intimate - as Frank's music is.
