European Shakuhachi Festivals
After yesterday's posting of the International Shakuhachi Festival Prague, it has come to my attention that I should also post an announcement about two other Festivals that will occur in Europe.
1-In 2017, there will be a WSF (World Shakuhachi Festival) in Europe.
2-There will be a ESS (European Shakuhachi Society) Festival this coming Summer (July 2016).
It will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the ESS.
Lots of great stuff in Europe for Shakuhachi enthusiasts!

Website WSF2016 tells that An ESS Summer School (not Festival) with international guests, intended to be held in July 2016.

It is my understanding that there will be an ESS Summer School in July as well.
However there will be an "International Shakuhachi Festival Prague" on the dates that the original WSF2016 was scheduled for (June 2-6, 2016).
It will be a smaller version of a World Shakuhachi Festival, but still very exciting!

I suppose every one of these festivals can be regarded as a small World Shakuhachi Festival as we always try to take in new perspectives at the same time also trying to represent the shakuhachi as broad as possible. So the Summer School in July will also just as much be a small WSF.
