Katsuya Nonaka played in London in September 2016, at the Iklektik venue near Waterloo station.

Nonaka studied shakuhachi with Atsuya Okuda, and is also a member of Seppuku Pistols. He directed the excellent documentary film "Future Is Primitive", about contemporary challenges in the arts of shakuhachi and skateboarding. On a trip to London to promote the film, he played a concert, improvising with cellist Ute Kangeisser and Ken Ikeda (electronics). I bought a ticket in advance; but I ended up playing a little as well.
