Gunnar Linder workshop in Paris May 20 - 21 2017
Gunnar Linder workshop in Paris May 20 - 21 2017
Dear all,
Here is the program for the next edition of the workshop series leaded by Gunnar Jinmei Linder in France.
This will take place at the auditorium « L’Echo » of Le Kremlin-Bicêtre and the Conservatoire of the same town (see addresses below) on the 20 and 21 of May.
Two novelties this year:
● First, there will be parallel sessions allowing to teach to beginners, intermediate and advanced student (Jean-François Lagrost will teach in parallel with Gunnar Linder),
● Second, we will have sankyoku sessions with the string players Mieko Miyazaki and Akari Sagara (for advanced students). Note that the sankyoku piece Zangetsu has already been taught in a previous workshop edition (without string players) so this time the course will focus on how to play it with string players. You are supposed to have seriously prepared it (sound files and scores will be available of course)
The levels are defined as follow:
● group 1 = used of reading classical Kinko notations, familiar with sankyoku
● group 2 = not familiar with Kinko style and notation but having already practiced for 3-4 years
● group 3 = able to play basic pieces but still below the level of group 2.
Please get in touch if you need clarifications about this classification.

● group 1: Zangetsu, Reibo-nagashi, Sayama Sugagaki
