1.8 Ji-ari Gyoteki Two stamps Sold
Hi , i have these 1.8 for sale. It's a good piece Advenced/professionnal level . Pitch in D for A around 438htz

A 1.8 signed by two henkos from the maker Gyoteki that I have finished renovating. It's a thick, solid piece, 55cm long, 438 gr, 3.7cm diameter measured under the notch ; 7 knots / 3 roots. Kinko insert, wicker joint. the bamboo had several external cracks which had not reached the urushi: the quality of the shappe, the polishing of the urushi let preserve the best.... After several days of steaming, I inlaid 10 links, and also redid the external joint. two of these cracks where nert the roots, so I put two metal "butterflies" in addition to the 3 ties at this point. The repair is thus fully secured: for 2 months, with the deep changes of seasonal weather (very hot and dry alternation and rain here in Lyon/France) it does not move...When played, it keeps its promises: tuned in D around 438/440 htz, the ro is powerful, timbred, all registers (up to 3 full octaves!) are balanced, right. A great advanced/professional level 1.8 that is back in business!
