New resin shakuhachi?

Answer from Mejiro: "The plastic shakuhachi you found is not currently available in Japan. (We really don't know who are making and where you can get them.) The store link you found was selling them as a pre-owned in the past. It is not their regular products, and it says they are all sold out and unavailable. That's all we know."
I think Perry had video with one of these.. ?

I wouldn't go too far out of my way or go to too much expense to try to collect these.
The Yuu is about as good as you are going to find for a resin shakuhachi. I've seen white resin ones from China on eBay recently for about the same price as a Yuu, maybe a little less — whether they know what they're doing or not is anyone's guess.

Hi pki, I removed the video because Mejiro was getting a lot of inquiries about the flute. As far as plastic shakuhachi goes, it's one of the better ones.
If you have any funds to spare, purchase one from the seller and help Japan.
Take care, Perry
