I remember when I first stumbled over your rendering of Mononoke Hime (//www.youtube.com/watch?v=V6ySpO37YB4&feature=related) and being stunned. My wife was walking through the room as the first note of the shakuhachi was being played, and I remember her just freezing in her tracks and saying "that's beautiful!" You have a wonderful, personal timbre. An inspiration!

The tv life recording of Monoke Hime, was some years ago in the spanish Tv.
Justin and I we spend almost 1 week, full time practice for the concert but we also recorded in my countryside studio of Mallorca island.
I will post soon, our recordings.

Wow, thanks for sharing! Your musical collaboration really takes me back to old Nippon. What size shakuhachis are you guys playing, as the are obviously extreme differences in their lengths? Kudos, Rodrigo and Justin!!!
