There are photos up from the European Shakuhachi Summer School that was held in London this year.
See them here: https://picasaweb.google.com/kikuday/ESSSOASShakuhachiSummerSchool2011?auth…

Also ESS has a facebook page. Some of the photos and other photos including a small video is up there.

Hopefully soon we will have a good quality video up which will show the atmosphere... :)

Below is a video/link about the European Shakuhachi Summer School that was held in London this year.
The video is a kind of summary of events and all in all about 8 minutes long and so, naturally, it does not cover everything...
...but, there will be more videos with more footage (and in higher resolution) of the various classes and concerts put online once the new ESS website is up and running.

Wonderful video, but it looks like there is enough material there for a whole DVD. I would love to see it all full length. Chiku Za looks great !

Chiku Za is a good looking guy (and a good maker and nice person living the shakuhachi life in full)!
There will be more videos coming up - as Thorsten wrote when ESS gets the new website up!

Thanks!
I remember watching Kodama's wonderful performance during the teacher's concert: Sometimes he would push and drag the end of his giant flute on the wooden floor – I was terrified in case the root end would snag one of the floor joints and hit his front teeth…
