Are you playing both the 3.0 and 1.5?

I did something similar with Tairaku in San Francisco where I played a 1.8 and he played a huge bored taimu in D. I do like the idea of playing in unison on a deep sounding and a high pitched instrument.

Thanks Kiku!... Yes, I'm playing both... and they are both made for me by good ol' Perry Yung. Two amazing flutes. Low and high F.
I remember seeing that video... It was Kyorei, right?... Liked it a lot. Hopefully one day we'll get to play together!

I also recorded Kyorei like this on my "Purple Field" CD with 3.4 and 1.6. We sometimes did Choshi in NYC with a bunch of 1.8's and I played 3.6. The octave thing is a bit under-explored...........good one Pepe!
