Traveling with a tiny flute
This little baby fits anywhere and you can just pull it out of your pocket and jam in the park or at the airport.

Cuuuuute! Shocked Okay
More info please!
What length and what pitch and does it play in tune even being so tiny?

It is a 1.29 (almost 1.3) by Naruse Ryudo, who was one of Jin Nyodo's students. It is pitched between G and Ab and it is pretty well in tune with itself. This is the same maker that of the 1.35 we discussed where you advised me not to play it so loud. Neutral

Noooooo... did I really tell you not to play so loud????
I must have been in a very bad mood... or ill!
Sorry! Rolling Eyes
I'd love to hear the Naruse. I x-rayed one of Naruse's shakuhachi for my PhD. Smile

Looks familiar! I was flying back from Qatar last week and had to check-in my flutes. This was the first time I couldn't fly with them. They ranged from 1.8 - 2.8. The 1.8 was in separated but they still said no. At least they didn't have a scratch on them when I got them back Very Happy

Hey Brian, can you put a sound file of the little cutie up, please. I'd love to hear.
Interesting Naruse made such a small flute. Very cool!

In your hand, I thought it was at least a 2.6.
