Check this out!!!
Just came across this on YouTube and it blew my mind. These kids are seriously accomplished technically and compositionally.
Anyone knows who they are?

Very cool!
The group is called Han-nya Teikoku and I guess the music is from their CD Ryujun since it is composed by Edo Shingo. Ryujin is a CD only with Edo's compositions for the trio. They all graduated from Geidai (I think) and play really well!!!

I had the pleasure of seeing Han-nya Teikoku here in Kumamoto in a small live house with an audience of about 25 a few years ago. Excellent. However, this video is of a much younger group of players than the Han-nya group. Here is a video of the Han-nya Teikoku players in 2009.
I believe that Ryujin model themselves after Han-nya and they're doing a fine job of it.

Cool video! And good playing!
Yes, I do see it is another group who has taken up the music of Han-nya Teikoku! But how cool is that!!!! Youngsters taking up quite difficult music and well-written music! Very positive!
