Bamboo for shakuhachi in Europe?
I have now heard that there is good bamboo in the Eastern part of Ukraine for shakuhachi making.
The shakuhachi I saw made from bamboo from this area looked fine...

Anyone else know good places for bamboo harvesting in Europe?

There is a maker in Germany who takes his bamboo from Toskana in Italy.

Do you have more info perhaps? Someone I can contact? And do you know where in Toscany?

Jose Vargas also came with info about a place in Portugal and couple of places in France.
