Shakuhachi related Yokai
I found this in the Mizuki Shigeru iPad app about Yokai. Mizuki is a manga artist best know for the series Gegege no Kitaro. Yes, the character Kitaro the musician got his name from.

Thanks Michael. Playing shakuhachi freely while wearing a tengai is difficult enough. I can't imagine wearing a huge porcelain teacup!

Happy New Year everyone! Good health to your Ro! Smile

Interesting!
Looks a little like the story about thrown away utensils that will become yōkai during the night and attack the people who threw them away...
They make parades as well.... scary! Wink

Porcelain teacup Perry? Clearly they're vintage turquoise lampshades probably dating from the Meiji Period.
Mastery does not lay in the mastery of technique, but in penetrating the heart of the music. However, he who has not mastered the technique will not penetrate the heart of the music.
