Anybody here play the Nohkan flute [ fue]

I have become interested in the Nohkan flute and have recently started Skype
Lessons with Mejiro music in Tokyo with a Mr Hitoro Watanabe sensei

I initially got started with their Self instruction kit but realised there was a lot more in in it.

There are some similarities with the shakuhachi and it has occured to me that some things
may have been ' imported' from nohkan fue playing to shakuhachi or vice versa.

Anybody looked into this or for that matter even play the nohkan flute?

Love to hear from you anyway about, anything to do with, nohkan fue.

I currently have a plastic flute which plays ok. Its 40 cm.

I am looking to get a decent [bamboo] fue sometime so if you have one or know of one
for sale I'd be interested in that too.
